CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPENT AND RESEARCH
The Center for Leadership Development & Research provides an organizing body that brings together a broad range of interests and expertise to explore a topic that is, by its very nature, interdisciplinary. By supporting research, course development, the Leadership Development Platform, case studies, workshops, experiential outings, and other programming, the Center enables faculty, students, and alumni alike to strengthen their understanding of what it takes to lead complex organizations. |
CENTER FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION
Through research, teaching and engagement, the Center works with socially concerned leaders and their organizations to confront difficult challenges. The Center leverages Stanford University's knowledge, expertise and networks, bringing community leaders together with our faculty, alumni and students to illuminate and address social problems. The Center undertakes an integrated set of activities designed to enhance the leadership, management, and organizational capacity of individuals and organizations who strive to create social and environmental value. |
JOHN W. GARDNER CENTER FOR YOUTH & THEIR COMMUNITIES
The John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities works in close partnership with community members - both youth and adults - to build communities that work for youth and to develop young people who will grow up to lead them. The Center seeks to develop new knowledge, practice, capacity, and leadership around youth development and learning. |
SCHOOL REDESIGN NETWORK
Responding to the need for new school models that are designed to teach all children to high levels, the School Redesign Network serves as a valuable resource for school communities working to improve their schools. The Network is a learning collaborative that helps school leaders to develop a broader knowledge base about school design, teaching and learning, curriculum and assessment, and a deeper understanding of the features of schools that have been successfully redesigned to support excellence and equity. |
